Re: //Dil Se Desi// India is not Egypt

Dear Rajesh;
Hats off; how beautifully you have conveyed the truth "India v/s Egypt".
I had been reading all about this for so many days but could not drive to any solid meaning of all these mails, I could understand only that every one has its own views without realizing the exact concept of issue.
Thanks,
smpaul

Dear

Shashikant and other Desi Friends

Since last 10-12 days there has been a lot of discussion in the group regarding staging an Egypt type Kranti in India against corruption. Well, the idea is supported by all the Patriotic Indians, but the question is how to rid India of such corruption and corrupted people.

Copying the Egyptian type revolt against their ruling elite, will not be successful in India. The struggle of the Tunisian, Egyptian and now Algerian, Yemeni and Libyan people is quite different from ours. These people are fighting for their basic freedoms against their ruthless ruling dictators. Their struggle is for establishing a democratic setup within their own countries. This is not the need of the hour for India. We already have democratic institutions in place and we are having all the freedoms of electing our leaders. Who is voting the corrupt and the anti-national leaders every 4/5 years? Its we only!!!!!

Revolutions have never sustained. History is a witness to this. Take the example of one the greatest and the bloodiest revolutionary in mankind's history, Mao Tes Tung who brought communism in China by killing millions of people in the name of People's Revolution ( Read : http://answers.encyclopedia.com/question/many-people-died-because-cultural-revolution-239965.html ). Once he got into power, he realised that his own party men had started losing interest and were getting corrupted. That's why he postulated that " Revolution after Revolution" is required ( Read : http://science.jrank.org/pages/10061/Maoism-Development-Mao-s-Thought-after-1949.html ).

Instead of planning to stage so called Egypt type Revolts, we Indians should understand our unique needs and act accordingly. The good example is of Communism which is a miserable failure all over the world and in India too. Communists/Maoists failed in India because they always thought in terms of Communist setups in USSR and China and never really understood the Indian requirements. Even the Egyptian style protests will fail the same way as they are not in accordance with Indian needs.

We Desis have to be AWARE, ALERT AND CONSCIOUS  citizens of our country and should use our voting rights to pluck out the corrupt and the anti-national leaders. Gujrat and Bihar have shown the way by rejecting the corrupts and by voting for leaders who care for their states and develop them. Whenever we Indians have untied to remove the corrupt and anti national elements through our votes, we have achieved success. Defeat of Mrs. Indira Gandhi in 1977 is another good example of this.
WE ARE WATCH DOGS OF OUR COUNTRY AND NOT ANY POLITICIAN'S LAP DOG AND WE KNOW HOW TO BITE TOO. WE SHOULD BITE THESE CORRUPT ANTI NATIONAL LEADERS IN ELECTIONS.  This can be achieved only by creating awareness in our people. I have always strived for creating  this alertness and awareness through the platform of Dil Se Desi Group.

I have shared my thoughts as a member of the group but as the Owner of the group I will not stop any discussions/actions for any kind of kranti etc. that the Desis may work out. I will support it.

JAI HIND

Dear Friends,

I am glad to read this by an Indian, who wants to bring revolution in India like Egypt. Now the time has come for us to ask for our rights. I request Mr. Rajesh Kainth, owner of dilsedesigroup to initiate this movement through this group. Below I am sharing my views on this issue.
It is not easy to start such movements over a short period. The first thing we have to start educating citizens about their voting rights. We should create like minded group of peoples in each and every constituency, This group will check the  backgroung of a person who is contesting elections. If any one found with tainted background no single vote should go to him. Only clean person should be voted to office.
This group will be constantly putting pressure on elected leader. Once a leader is elected we should make sure that he does fulfill his constitutional duties in his constituency. Also we should keep watch on corruption. Educate people, not to pay bribes to babus and govt. officers.
Our main problem is our leaders. Once we put a check on them the other things will follow and life will be easy. We have everything in our country. Qualified youth, resources, land, cheap labour, doctors, engineers, scientists etc. Only missing is our will to do things. We have let our politicians loose to make money and stash away in foreign banks. Billions of dollars are in tax heavens. This is our money and  we have the right over it. We all have to raise voice to bring it back. No politician can stop us in this. If any one tries to oppose then he should be dealt with.
So let us start this.

JAI HIND.
SHASHIKANT
